Let's get right to it then, shall we?
🎬 Who is Cary Grant?
Born Archibald Alec Leach in 1904, Cary Grant was a British-American actor who is referred to as one of Hollywood's leading men in the golden age, and the man who I've now seen 17 of his movies (all in 2022!)
Known for his lighthearted acting, his ‘transatlantic’ accent, and his charming personality, Grant was in quite a lot of successful movies from the 1930s to the 1960s.
I especially like him for his collaborations with popular director and filmmaker, Alfred Hitchcock (who as you may or may not have noticed, this whole enterprise was named after), which include the classic 1959 thriller, North by Northwest.
In the past weeks, I guess you can say I've been obsessing over this man, and this so-called obsession might not go away for a while.
There is just something about Cary Grant, from his delightful face to his subtle humor, and powerful physique, you just gotta love the man. I don't suppose this is the last time I will write about Grant, and I don't see why this should be, anyway.
🎬 What's New on Netflix?
Happy February!
I was especially looking forward to this month because I expect some new Netflix releases as January wasn't a very good month in that aspect. I mean, there was the first part of Ozark’s Season 4, but that's about everything interesting in January.
Now it's another month and I daresay, Netflix-wise, it is most likely going to be a much better time. Here is a list of top fresh arrivals to Netflix and our rating of them, and also a list of what's coming this February. Be sure to check some of it out for a good time!

🎬 Welcome To The Neighborhood
There is not a lot of sitcoms out there worth watching these days. I mean, besides the classics like The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother that have already aired in the past.
There's just not a lot of beautiful comedy on TV right now. Streaming ain't helping matters at all. Most of the comedies on streaming TV are supposed to be binge-watch-able content and they're just not up to par with what we used to have back in the day.
That's not to say there's still not some good stuff out there. For example, one good comedy TV show right now that I think deserves more attention than it's getting is The Neighborhood.
Believe me when I say The Neighborhood has all the elements of a good sitcom and has the potential to become a classic like The Big Bang Theory or The Office. Also, too much mediocre content being released certainly can't hurt the rating of a pretty decent show like that.
In one sentence: The Neighborhood is good and you should be watching it!
🎬 Is HBO’s “Euphoria” Any Good?
There's certainly been a lot of talk about the HBO series, Euphoria since its January return for Season 2.
The show that first aired in 2019 stars Zendaya, and has some pretty big names (including Drake) involved in the production. In short, people won't stop talking about it. And this, I believe has got people wondering what the whole fuss and buzz is all about anyhow. Well, is Euphoria good?
I won't fool ya. Euphoria is not for everybody. For instance, I've been reluctant to catch up on season 2. Not that the first season wasn't good; it was good. But I'm skeptical about what it could become based on the trajectory of the storyline.
With a show like Euphoria, there's always that possibility, however remote, of a downward spiral. You can't say the same for a show like Veronica Mars or All American that has almost the same setting, for instance. After the first season, you instantly know it was gonna get better. Can't say the same for Euphoria, unfortunately.
If you've never seen Euphoria, then you should at least check out the first season; it's cool. Way too cool for you not to know what it's about.
As for season two, I guess that's a decision you're gonna have to make yourself. That said, how bad can Euphoria really be, anyway?
Looks like that will be all for this week. See you again next week. Don't forget to follow us on Twitter. Xx.
