Is HBO’s “Euphoria” Any Good?
There's certainly been a lot of talk about the HBO series, Euphoria since its January return for Season 2.
The show that first aired in 2019 stars Zendaya, and has some pretty big names (including Drake) involved in the production. In short, people won't stop talking about it. And this, I believe has got people wondering what the whole fuss and buzz is all about anyhow. Well, is Euphoria good?
I won't fool ya. Euphoria is not for everybody. For instance, I've been reluctant to catch up on season 2. Not that the first season wasn't good; it was good. But I'm skeptical about what it could become based on the trajectory of the storyline.
With a show like Euphoria, there's always that possibility, however remote, of a downward spiral. You can't say the same for a show like Veronica Mars or All American that has almost the same setting, for instance. After the first season, you instantly know it was gonna get better. Can't say the same for Euphoria, unfortunately.
If you've never seen Euphoria, then you should at least check out the first season; it's cool. Way too cool for you not to know what it's about.
As for season two, I guess that's a decision you're gonna have to make yourself. That said, how bad can Euphoria really be, anyway?
